Dinesh Moorjani

Serial Entrepreneur, CEO, Investor

Dinesh is a serial tech entrepreneur, CEO, and investor.  He is currently the Managing Partner at Comcast Ventures.  He served as an advisor to Warburg Pincus, the global private equity firm, where he was previously an EIR, serving on company boards and co-investing alongside the firm.

Dinesh was the Founder and CEO of Hatch Labs Inc, where he built numerous mobile enterprise software and consumer tech companies from ground up.  He co-founded Tinder (NASDAQ: MTCH) in 2012.  Dinesh co-founded numerous other technology businesses, including Saffronart, a leading online Asian fine art auction house and global eCommerce marketplace, backed by Sequoia Capital, where he remains on the board. Dinesh co-founded Kleverbeast, a no-code SaaS application development platform, and Monet Analytics, a human AI sentiment analytics SaaS business, where he also continues to serve on the board.

Dinesh has held leadership roles at IAC/InterActiveCorp and Samsung Electronics in the US and Asia.  Dinesh built his early career at AD Little and Goldman Sachs, and was an early employee at Mainspring (IPO in July 2000, acquired by IBM in 2001).

He serves as an independent board director at Alight, serves on the advisory boards of Fortune 500 companies including American Express and Assurant, and recently held the board observer seat at Zoox, a leader in autonomous vehicles acquired by Amazon.  Dinesh is an active faculty member at UCLA’s Anderson School of Management, guest lectures at Harvard and Columbia, and serves on the HBS California Research Center advisory board.

He is also committed to helping foster youth striving for a better life through his non-profit work as a board director at the United Friends of the Children.  Dinesh earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from Harvard.
