A senior lecturer in entrepreneurial management at Harvard Business School, Roberge teaches "Entrepreneurial Sales and Marketing" and "The Entrepreneurial Manager." His award-winning book, The Sales Acceleration Formula: Using Data, Technology, and Inbound Selling to Go from $0 to $100 Million, describes his experience at HubSpot, where he progressed from SVP of Worldwide Sales and Services to Chief Revenue Officer of Sales.
In the book, Mark shares how he expanded his sales team from 1 to 450 and increased revenue over 6,000%. Under his leadership, the team acquired HubSpot's first 10,000 customers across more than 60 countries. As a result, HubSpot placed #33 on the INC 500 Fastest Growing Companies list in 2011.
Roberge now serves as an Advisor to HubSpot and an instructor for HubSpot Academy's Inbound Sales Certification. Named one of Forbes' Top 30 Social Sellers in the World, Mark also won the Salesperson of the Year award at the MIT Sales Conference in 2010. He was a semi-finalist in the 2005 MIT $50K Business Plan competition and was awarded the Patrick McGovern award for his contributions to entrepreneurship at MIT. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management
